A new dining destination is now open in Houston's Museum District.

Granger's offers classic American fare for guests looking for dishes that include Gulf seafood, steak and caviar, among other options. The 7,000-square-foot-restaurant features a full bar and front patio equipped for group dining and private events, according to a news release.

What they're saying

The restaurant is named after the Granger family, who have owned eateries in the area for over a decade, including Bodegas Taco Shop and Fia's Pizzeria. Ryan and Josephine Granger are behind the new restaurant concept.

"We've been in the restaurant space for several decades and this project is something Josephine and I poured our hearts and souls into. We are passionate about food and have a strong desire to create an unparalleled dining experience for our community," Ryan Granger said in a news release.


What's on the menu

Menu highlights include Gulf seafood such as oysters, crab and spicy tuna. Other options on the menu are rosemary chicken and the Granger's Cowboy Burger.

Granger's is open for lunch, dinner and happy hour, seven days a week, according to the release.
