Meltwich, a Toronto-based eatery specializing in grilled cheese and poutine, has signed a leased for a 1,400-square-foot space at the intersection of Rice Boulevard and Kelvin Drive in Houston, according to a July 31 news release from
NewQuest Properties.
Community Impact has reached out to Meltwich officials for more details on the new location as well as the timeline for opening. According to the company's
website, locations can be found throughout Canada.
Menu items include grilled cheese, burgers, poutine and milkshakes. Plant-based items are also available, including a veggie melt and veggie poutine.
Josh Friedlander and Bob Conwell of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord in the transaction. Michael Gordon and Kristen Barker of Edge Realty Partners represented the tenant.
