Rebees, a Houston and Dallas-based real estate company, announced plans for renovations of downtown Houston mixed-use development GreenStreet in early 2025, according to an Oct. 17 news release.

The details

The 611,000-square-foot downtown development, which is home to tenants like the House of Blues, is set to include improvements such as:
  • A pedestrian alleyway experience featuring local restaurants
  • Four city blocks of solar panels
  • Renovated office space including new landscaping, gardens and amenities
Construction on the first phase is set to begin in the first quarter of 2025 and complete by the third quarter of 2025, according to the release.

Also of note

International design company RIOS is leading the design of the GreenStreet renovation, according to the release.


RIOS Creative Director Mark Motonaga said the readaption of GreenSteet will create a new model for urban space in Houston.

“The future of GreenStreet will breathe new life into the downtown experience and set the stage for Houston’s continued evolution," Motonaga said in the release.
