A luxury apartment building is in the works at the former site of the planned Ashby high-rise at 1717 Bissonnet St., Houston.
El Paso-based Hunt Companies, in partnership with Dallas-based StreetLights Residential, announced plans for The Langley on May 2.
Stephen Meek, senior vice president with StreetLights Residential, said the 20-story multifamily project will mirror The McKenzie, a high-end apartment building in Dallas.
The Langley will include 134 two- to three-bedroom apartments with units that range from 2,600-3,300 square feet, Meek said. The project will target long-term residents who are looking to make a move from larger single-family homes, according to a May 2 press release.
Construction is slated for completion in 2025.
