The city of Bellaire will close its parks from April 10 through April 13 in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 during the holiday weekend, the city announced in a news release.
The announcement was done in cooperation with an order from Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo April 8 to close all county parks through the weekend.
Bellaire’s announcement affects all public green spaces, play structures, and park equipment in all city of Bellaire parks, Paseo Park, sports fields, Evelyn’s Park and Nature Discovery Center.
