The changes began taking effect April 6.
“This effort is minimize the possibility of communal spread and to ensure continuity of City operations in providing those services,” West U announced in the update.
There will be limited staff onsite to handle functions that cannot be completed remotely, the announcement went on to say.
Police, fire, and public works, which includes code enforcement, animal control, trash collection, water, drainage, sewer and streets, will not be affected, the city said.
