A new Paper Source location is now open in Rice Village that offers sustainable, artisanal paper products. The Kelvin Street store opened in June, Rice Village General Manager Aj Jennings said in an email.

What they offer

Paper Source creates, crafts, colors, cuts, shapes and prints with paper of all sizes, styles and materials. The company also uses a sustainable and socially-responsible production method, according to its website.

Products include calendars, journals, pens, notepads, planners, candles, home decor and personalized gifts. Paper Source retail specialists also work on creating paper products for special events, including wedding invitations.

Respecting the craft



The very first Paper Source store opened in Chicago in 1983 as a family-owned store that showcased handcrafted paper from around the world, according to the company's website. In 2024, the company now has more than 200 employees with stores across 28 U.S. states.
