The fifth Greater Houston location for the authentic Latin bakery, El Bolillo Bakery, is now open in the Galleria area, according to bakery representatives.

Chief Operations Officer Andrew Miller said in a news release that their mission is to provide a space where all are welcome.

"Our mission is to provide a space where all are welcome, regardless of their background or budget. We're excited to bring the warmth and flavor of El Bolillo Bakery to the heart of the Galleria Area," Miller said.

What they offer

The 9,500-square-foot space will offer the same menu as its other locations, including over 100 varieties of bread and pan dulce, and an array of specialty cakes.

What's special about it

The new space features murals adorned with vibrant butterfly motifs made by a local artist and El Bolillo employee that has worked at the bakery for over a decade, according to the news release. The decor pays homage to traditional Mexican bakeries.

"This location represents not only a significant expansion for us but also an opportunity to introduce our unique offerings to a new market in Houston," Miller said.
