Downtown Houston now has a new place for visitors to stay.
The second Texas location of Moxy Hotels, a branch of the Marriott Hotel brand, opened in the heart of Houston in December. The hotel occupies the former State National Bank building, which was built in the 1920s and is located in the Main Street Market Square Historic District.

Marketed as a stylish and social boutique hotel, Moxy Houston has 119 guest rooms and offers guests a complimentary signature cocktail at check-in, according to its website. The communal lobby is home to "Tex" the mechanical bull as well as a "Price is Right" pay-to-play wheel, Jenga, ping-pong and beer pong.
