A new location of the vegan dessert chain Cinnaholic will open Dec. 8 in Meyerland Court, 4798 Beechnut St., Houston.

Offerings at the store will include the chain's cinnamon rolls with various flavors as well as edible cookie dough, brownies, cookies, Baby Buns—miniature versions of cinnamon rolls—and Cinnacakes, a cinnamon roll-based cake with different topping and frosting options. The store will also offer Dole Whip—the chain's gluten-free, dairy-free soft serve—and espresso drinks.

Seasonal items will vary throughout the year. All products sold at the store are 100% vegan, dairy-free, lactose-free, egg-free, cholesterol-free and allergen-friendly.

The store will be locally run by Meyerland resident Jose Figueroa, his daughter Maria and his eldest son Hector, according to a Dec. 4 news release.

“It’s an honor to have our own company here in our hometown of Meyerland, and serving an incredible product that families enjoy,” Maria Figueroa said in a statement. “We are thrilled to embark on this journey of creating our future through this store, transforming it into a heartfelt family-run small business."

A grand opening party is set for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 8 at the site of the new store. Guests will be able to purchase one cinnamon roll of their choice for $2 during the event.
