[Solidcore], a strength-training studio based in Washington, D.C., is set to open the doors to its third Houston location in Rice Village.

The studio, located at 2411 Times Blvd., Houston, will be open to the public Feb. 11, according to Brand Manager Leora Kahn.

“[Solidcore] differentiates itself by bringing different levels of intensity and efficiency to the workout and the overall experience—attracting those who believe that the joy is in the work, and that there is always work to be done,” Kahn said.

Inspired by traditional pilates, [solidcore] is a strength-based 50-minute fitness class that offers full-body workouts that, by design, use slow, controlled movements to break down muscle fibers, at which point, the muscles build back stronger and leaner, according to a news release.

Kahn said the hours of operation at the studio vary, but their website will be live in a few days in order to view the schedule.

“Our hours of operation differ each day as our schedules change. However, we offer classes starting at 6 a.m. in the morning through the night on weekdays, and close around 2-3 p.m. on the weekends. We are open 365 days a year,” Kahn added.
