Portions of Park, Michigan, Colorado and North Kansas avenues will be closed between Main and Third streets for the city's White Linen Night Art Crawl event. Residents who need access to these streets will have to use Iowa Avenue and Fourth or Coryell streets, which will remain open, according to a news release.
Event parking will be available at several areas throughout League City's historic district. Spaces will be indicated with signs denoting event parking, according to the release.
White Linen Night is part of the city's public art initiative and its 60th anniversary celebration. Attendees of this free event are asked to wear white from 4-8 p.m. and enjoy an homage to the New Orleans tradition of wearing white clothes while socializing outdoors in the summer. The event will include over 100 booths featuring pieces from local artists, live performances, music, food, games and more.
