What’s happening?
At 9:30 a.m. May 10 at the League City Public Safety Building, 555 W. Walker St., League City, the League City Police Department will host the Galveston County Law Enforcement Police Week Memorial Service, according to a city news release.
The public event aims to honor and recognize law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
Law enforcement from around the county and state along with local leaders from Bay Area cities will attend. NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren will deliver the keynote speech.
