The overview
CCISD officials are recommending capital project funds of nearly $1.2 million for the following projects:
- Five-year purchase of software platform Brightly Origin for long-range planning and asset management needs
- 7 new police vehicles
- 6 white fleet replacement vehicles, including one cargo van, three half-ton pickup trucks and two 1-ton pickup trucks
Also on the agenda
Another notable project for the board’s consideration is a $2.25 million purchase for replacement of heating, ventilation and air conditioning, or HVAC, units in network equipment rooms across district facilities.
If approved, the measure would be paid for through the district’s 2023 bond, board agenda documents note.
