College of the Mainland recorded its highest all-time enrollment for the fall semester, according to a Sept. 21 news release from the college.

The gist

College of the Mainland’s student enrollment reached 5,779 students as of Sept. 18, which is the first time since the start of the pandemic the campus has reached prepandemic levels, according to the release.

Data from the college shows about 5,010 students are enrolled in credit courses—an 11% increase from last year’s fall semester. Meanwhile, another 769 students are registered for continuing education classes.

The college in September also announced its Collegiate High School enrollment set an all-time record this fall. It’s expected more than 300 students are enrolled in the program this year, which is up more than 30% compared to last year.
