As of the 2026-27 school year, 100% of Clear Creek ISD’s school buses are fully air-conditioned, according to a “program spotlight” of benchmarks the district has achieved for the new school year.
Additionally, the district’s transportation team completed all bus routes in earlier times than in the previous two school years.

CCISD's Safe and Secure Schools Department bolstered its elementary campus presence during the first week of school by bringing 11 outside law enforcement officers from Galveston County, Houston Police Department, UTMB and Webster Police Department, according to the presentation.
Over the summer, school resource officers completed advanced training and four deputies graduated with their school-based law enforcement licenses.

According to the presentation, during the summer, CCISD completed several major facility upgrades throughout the district, including:
- 87 chillers repaired
- 1,500 HVAC coils cleaned
- 63 cooling towers cleaned
- 20 gym floors refinished
- 17 campus fire lanes repainted with help from students

At the beginning of the school year, staff served 10% more meals than the previous year, despite a decrease in overall student enrollment, according to the presentation.
