Total new cases per day appear to be on the downtrend.
The county saw 131 new cases July 23 and 120 new cases July 24. At the end of June and beginning of July, the county regularly saw over 200 new cases every day.
There have been no reported deaths since July 22, when two were reported to have died from COVID-19. One was reported dead July 20, and a record seven reportedly died from the coronavirus July 18.
Of the 7,914 cases, 5,070 are active, 2,776 have recovered, and 68 have died. The county has administered over 101,000 COVID-19 tests.
