Moody Gardens reopens hotel, attractions

Moody Gardens, located at 1 Hope Blvd., Galveston, will reopen its hotel and attractions May 22 and 23, respectively, after 10 weeks of closed attractions, according to a news release. Capacity restrictions will be well within compliance of the state's Phase 2 reopening orders as most attractions open back up to the public. High-contact areas will remain closed, per the release. The Moody Gardens Golf Course reopened earlier in the month on May 4. 409-744-4673.
