After working at an urgent care, two nurse practitioners are venturing to open their own extended-hours pediatric clinic in League City.

Amber Brown and Rachel Helms will celebrate the grand opening of Parkside Kids Clinic of League City in early June, Helms said. Together, Helms and Brown have over 25 years of pediatric experience, according to the clinic's website.
The self-pay clinic is open seven days a week, offering same day visits, on-site diagnostic testing, telemedicine options and a warm and comforting environment, according to the clinic's website.
