The shopping center the business will be set up in is owned by Tarantino Properties, for which Sutton works.
The business filed documents with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on Oct. 24, with the goal to wrap up construction by April, according to the filings.
“We’re always looking for tenants that will augment in a positive way the merchandising of the center,” Sutton said. “James Avery fits well into that.”
Once opened, it would be the second location James Avery has in League City. The first is located at 2755 E. League City Parkway, Ste. 100, League City, according to the business' website.
