Not Your Ordinary Cakes, a bakery specializing in creating customized, ready-to-order cakes, opened in League City.

Customers can order cakes for various occasions, including birthdays, themed events and more.

Owner Jessica Ewald has 14 years of experience in the cake business and makes cakes ranging from wedding cakes to “out of the ordinary, no-one-considers cakes,” Ewald said.

“I love making the ordinary into extraordinary,” she said.

Ewald plans to offer classes taught by her and other professionals in the future.
