Intuitive Machines officials hosted the grand opening of the company’s Lunar Production and Operations Center at the Houston Spaceport.

The center will allow the Clear Lake-based aerospace company to package and ship its Nova-C lunar lander, which is scheduled to launch to the moon to conduct science experiments as early as Nov. 15. The facility will also be used to produce other landers for future missions.

Intuitive Machines still maintains a presence at the Boeing Co. building at 3700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston. It’s there Intuitive Machines has a mission control room for the Nova-C’s flight to the moon.
