New Shake Shack shakes up Katy
The new Katy Shake Shack located at 19300 Katy Freeway is now open. It's the third Texas location to feature a drive-thru. Diners can expect the fast-casual restaurant’s signature ShackBurger; crinkle-cut fries, hand-spun shakes; and a regional menu item exclusive to its Texas locations—the Lockhart Link Burger, a cheeseburger topped with a jalapeno cheese sausage link, pickles and ShackSauce.

5 master-planned communities growing in Conroe
Master-planned communities are bringing new amenities and space to the Conroe area. When The Woodlands Hills opened in 2018, it provided Conroe one of its first master-planned communities. Since its launch, multiple master-planned communities have risen, providing more living options for the area.

Housing prices, sales down year over year in The Woodlands area
The community’s average home price decreased from $390,395 in June 2021-May 2022 to $353,315 in June 2022-May 2023. The only increase in home prices was seen in ZIP code 77389, 2.1%, and the largest decrease was in ZIP code 77380, which saw a 24.9% decrease.
