Nine new murals adorn traffic signal boxes at several intersections around League City, per a July 24 news release from the city.

The decorative murals are part of League City’s Public Art Initiative, a beautification project that began in spring 2021.

Community Impact previously reported these artworks incorporate nature, history and some interactive elements. The winning designs were voted on by the Keep League City Beautiful Citizen Committee, per the release.

The murals were completed in early July, said Sarah Osborne, director of communications and community engagement for League City.
