<p>The issuance of $3.96 billion schoolhouse bonds by Houston ISD for new school buildings and renovation and expansion of existing school buildings (including safety and security infrastructure for such school buildings), the purchase of necessary sites for school buildings and the imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds. This is a property tax increase.</p>

<p>The issuance of $440 million schoolhouse bonds by Houston ISD for technology equipment and systems, technology infrastructure, instruction technology and the imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any credit agreements executed in connection with the bonds. This is a property tax increase.</p><p><br></p>

<p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Allowing the HCFCD to increase its property tax rate from $0.03316 per $100 valuation to $0.04897 per $100 valuation to help maintain infrastructure.</span></p>
