Candidates Christina Morales and Inocensia Moreno will vie for Texas House District 145 in the Nov. 3 general election.
Texas House of Representatives District 145 encompasses portions of central Houston, representing major neighborhoods in the Heights, East End and the Northside.
On the ballot
Incumbent Christina Morales assumed office in 2019 and has represented the district for over seven years. Morales ran unopposed in the Democratic primaries.
Inocensia Moreno also ran unopposed in the Republican primaries, which she advanced from back in March.
Preparing for the polls
In Harris County, early vote centers will open Oct. 19 at 7 a.m. and remain open through Oct. 30. The deadline to apply for a mail ballot is October 23.
On Election Day, vote centers across the county will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Residents can view more voting center information on the Harris County Clerk's Office website.
