Updated: Spray tan salon Hush Hush Tan coming soon to M-K-T in the Heights

Updated: Hush Hush Tan is now on track to open in January 2024.

A new salon that boasts safer and healthier spray tan practices is set to open in January in the Heights.

Hush Hush Tan will open within the M-K-T mixed-use development at 600 N. Shepherd Drive, Ste. 128, Houston, according to a November news release.

Company officials attribute the safety of the business to the development of their own, all-natural tanning solution. The business will feature six private tanning areas where customers can receive consultations to develop a personalized plan.

Other services include clear glow, a clear solution that will not stain clothing; custom glow, a customized tan to match a customer's skin tone; gold glow, which uses drops of gold; and rapid glow, a tan that develops in three hours.

The tanning process itself is designed to take around 15 minutes in total. Hush Hush Tan also offers an all-natural tan extender, body scrub, body wash and moisturizer products onsite.
