Newly formed American Red Cross chapter Dallas-Fort Worth Metro West has named Adolph Aguirre as the first executive director.
Aguirre will be based in Fort Worth, and oversee programs and services for more than 3.3 million people in nine counties, including Tarrant and Denton counties.
Aguirre most recently served as the commanding officer and executive director of The Salvation Army in McAllen since 2019. He held that same position in Laredo from 2016-19.
“I’m thrilled to step into this new opportunity and join such a vibrant and engaged team here in North Texas,” Aguirre said in a press release. “As the new executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro West Chapter, I look forward to working alongside my peers in the community to ensure we are providing robust Red Cross services throughout the chapter.”
