"We think we have the best location we've ever had," Bill said, adding that the business' reception in Southlake has been a "warm, friendly" one.

The Silver Spoon offers a bakery, catering, special orders, corporate lunches, carryout and holiday dinners in addition to a full menu in the restaurant. That menu features soups, salads and sandwiches as well as breakfast items, such as homemade pastries, quiche and egg sandwiches.

"Everything here is made from scratch in our kitchen right here," Bill said. "The only thing we don't make ourselves are the potato chips and the bread, and we'd probably do that if we had the time."
