These issues will be addressed head-on. We will lower taxes by reducing and where possible eliminating the ad valorem tax, along with ending unfair tax abatements. What would your top priorities be if you are elected?

My top priorities will be lowering taxes, reduced lawsuits, safer jails, securing our elections, defending our constitutional rights, and investing in smart infrastructure that benefits taxpayers—not wasteful bureaucracy.

Why are you running for office?

Tarrant County needs a strong leader with significant business experience, who has leadership and communication skills, and who knows how to reduce taxes, eliminate wasteful spending, and maintain law and order. I've delivered on these key issues over the last three years and want to continue serving Tarrant County residents.

What are the biggest challenges facing the county?

Continuing to lower property taxes, identifying and cutting more wasteful spending, making sure we keep Tarrant County citizens safe, and providing good roads that help eliminate congestion.

How do you plan to address these issues?

We've cut $81 million from the Tarrant County operating budget and made historic tax cuts while increasing law enforcement funding. Through continued strong leadership, we can do more of the same. We've made improvements to county roadways, and we're collaborating with TxDOT on long-term plans to keep up with growth.
