Big Chill Trophy Club is now open under new ownership.
The Metroport Chamber held a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of the ice cream shop May 30. The store reopened following renovations and changes that started April 1, according to owner Tony Strehlow.
The backstory
Tony Strehlow and his wife, Debbie, and son, Connor, are the family behind the store, which serves a variety of Hershey-branded ice cream.
He said there are new booths for customers and the patio was renovated and treated. Ceiling fans and a pulldown shades were added June 30, he said.
The store is located in a shopping center across from Byron Nelson High School.
