Northeast Tarrant County residents will have access to a mobile COVID-19 testing site in Bedford on May 15-16.
The site will be located at the former JPS Health Network clinic at 837 Brown Trail, Bedford, and will be open 10 a.m.-6 p.m., according to Tarrant County Commissioner Gary Fickes' office.
Those interested in being receiving a test should register through www.txcovidtest.org or call 512-883-2400. In order to be tested, individuals will be screened for fever, cough, body aches, sore throat and other COVID-19 symptoms.
Tarrant County residents also have access to virtual COVID-19 screening and free testing. The Tarrant County Public Health Department announced that as of April 26, residents can navigate to https://covidtesting.tarrantcounty.com for virtual COVID-19 screening. The first tests began April 27. Those who meet certain criteria will be automatically scheduled for an appointment at a Fort Worth-based testing site.
