Kumon moved to its permanent home Jan. 25 after three months of offering tutoring services at The Marq Southlake.

Kumon offers supplemental tutoring for ages 3 to adult. The program focuses on math and reading and is designed to help students develop strong academic skills through self-learning and daily practices, Center Director Shammina Hussain said.
The program gives students an early learning foundation to establish reading fluency, build number sense and develop handwriting skills, Hussain said.
