Kimberly Thompson bought Beverly Hills Fine Rugs & Design in Southlake in May. She and her husband, Jhawn Thompson, operate the business together.
The business sells rugs and offers in-store rug washing and repair services. The Thompsons added carpet cleaning, tile cleaning and upholstery cleaning to their services.
The backstory
Prior to moving to Texas, the couple owned a sewer and septic business in Montana.
“We were ready for a change, and honestly I didn't know how he would do having to work outside in this heat,” Kimberly said in an email.
The Thompsons considered other business opportunities in the area before buying Beverly Hills Fine Rugs & Design.
“We visited the store, met the owner and fell in love with the business and all the potential for growth,” Kimberly said.
