Crews completed work on the west side of Rockride Lane and began working on the east side as part of upgrades to the road. Once completed, it will consist of two lanes with a continuous center left-turn lane and a 10-foot-wide shared-use path along one side from SE Inner Loop to Sam Houston Avenue.

Upcoming projects
Williams Drive
- Project: The city project will construct medians with turn lanes on Williams Drive from I-35 to Serenada Drive, including a shared-use path on the north side of Williams Drive, a new waterline, and street lighting from DB Wood Road to Jim Hogg Road and Serenada Drive to I-35.
- Update: The Texas Department of Transportation is reviewing contractor bids, and officials anticipate construction starting this summer.
- Timeline: 2023-27
- Cost: $18.6 million
- Funding sources: city of Georgetown, traffic impact fees, federal grants, tax increment financing
- Project: A 2.91-mile stretch of SE Inner Loop will be widened to a four-lane, divided road from Hwy. 29 to FM 1460. A shared-use path for pedestrians and bicycles will be added on one side.
- Update: Utility relocations are under way for the first phase of the project from FM 1460 to Southwestern Boulevard. Design is complete, and officials anticipate it to go out to bid in July.
- Timeline: 2022-28
- Cost: $70.6 million
