Unlock MLS launched Flex Listings, a new type of low-profile listing that allows people selling their homes to test out the market while still benefitting from the expertise of a real estate agent.
What it is
Flex Listings allows sellers to test out asking prices and feel out the market without having to fully list their home.
Emily Girard, Unlock MLS and Austin Board of Realtors CEO, said Flex Listings provide sellers with a more strategic way to enter the market.
“Too often, sellers felt forced to choose between keeping their home completely private or going fully public before they were ready,” Girard said. “Flex Listings bridge that gap by allowing sellers to begin marketing within our MLS community without the impact of days on market counts or price history, while they prepare for a full launch.”
Flex Listings is exclusive to Unlock MLS, the multiple listing system for the Austin Board of Realtors. The site is a hub for real estate agents with many features such as leasing data, a client portal and a listing manager.
