The Gold's Gym at 1019 W. University Ave., Ste. 100, Georgetown has permanently closed.
"As our global community continues to navigate the impact of Covid-19, today this includes sharing the news that we have made the difficult decision to permanently close about 30 company-owned gyms across the United States, including this location," an April 15 Facebook post said.
Members will be emailed with updates on what the closing means for memberships, pre-paid dues and services.
"This includes seamlessly transferring your membership to another nearby Gold's Gym location where possible," the post said.
