Georgetown City Council calls May 4 general election

At a Feb. 13 meeting, Georgetown City Council called a general election to be held May 4 to elect two council members.

The gist

The May 4 election will include the election of District 1 and District 5 council members, according to city documents.

The District 1 seat is currently held by Amanda Parr, and the District 5 seat is currently held by Kevin Pitts.

Both Parr and Pitts are eligible to run for re-election.
