Georgetown ISD is working to construct a new elementary and middle school in east Georgetown.
Although construction will be complete by this summer, the district has delayed the schools' opening until August 2027 due to slowed enrollment growth.

GISD is constructing the following campuses off Patriot Way and SH 130 near East View High School.

GISD broke ground on its fourth high school last fall. The new campus, located on D.B. Wood Road, will open to grades 9-12 in August 2028 with a capacity for 2,200 students.
