Georgetown ISD students, teachers and staff will head back to the classroom Aug. 18.
According to GISD's district calendar, students will have a total of 170 full instruction days and two early release days. GISD teachers will have 13 professional learning days.
Other calendar highlights include a holiday break Nov. 21-25, a two-week winter break Dec. 19-30 and a spring break March 13-17.
GISD will also acknowledge federal holidays Sept. 5, Oct. 10, Jan. 16 and Feb. 20.
