The Williamson County Cities and Health District announced 37 new positive cases of the coronavirus between May 23-26, bringing the county total to 565, according to a daily report.
Currently, 13 patients are hospitalized, seven are in intensive care and three are on a ventilator, per the report. Of the 565 confirmed cases, 325 have recovered.
The county also reported its 22nd death, a woman in her 80s, on May 25.
“We are saddened by the news of another life lost too soon to the coronavirus,” Williams County Judge Bill Gravell said in a news release. "All lives are precious. I urge you to take the steps necessary to protect more lives, particularly the most vulnerable among us.”
