First Baptist Church-Georgetown will be offering remote learning assistance and care for working parents during the first three weeks of school, according to a Georgetown ISD Aug. 11 news release. This program has now reached capacity.
Families who have a child in kindergarten through fifth grade can enroll in the church’s free program. The program will run Aug. 20-Sept. 9 from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In addition to school work, the FBG team is planning a variety of safe but fun activities throughout each day, the release said. Daily lunch service from GISD and after-school care may also be available, it said.
