Williamson County and Cities Health District reported 15 new cases of the coronavirus May 19, bringing the county total to 501, according to a daily report.
Of the 501 confirmed cases, 276 have recovered, the report said.
Currently, 16 patients are hospitalized, four are in the intensive care unit, and three patients are on a ventilator, per the report. The WCCHD also reported 35% of beds and 67% of ventilators are available.
In addition, the county reported a 7% positive rate of tests, meaning 7% of tests administered have returned positive, per the report.
The county has administered 6,516 tests, according to Texas Department of State Health Services data. Totals include tests performed by public labs and nonpublic labs reported electronically and nonelectronically, according to its website. Total test numbers are unable to be de-duplicated for private labs, it said.
