Cattleman's Ball
The Williamson Museum hosted the fifth annual Cattleman's Ball on Oct. 15 at the Sheraton Georgetown Texas Hotel and Conference Center.
The event raised money for the museum's educational programs and honored former Texas Gov. Dan Moody.
Moody also served as district attorney in Texas' 26th judicial district, which included Williamson and Travis counties at the time.
During his time as district attorney, he was the first person to successfully prosecute and convict a member of the Ku Klux Klan.
