Boomtown Escape Games will open in April at 215 W. Eighth St., Georgetown. The escape-room business—developed by Georgetown City Council Member Valerie Nicholson and her husband, Blake Nicholson—will allow teams to gather clues to escape a puzzle room within a set amount of time. Boomtown Escape Games will have rooms based on 17th century and 18th century saloons and schoolhouses.
