ROUNDUP: Results for the May 24 primary runoff elections in Frisco

According to unofficial results, Kevin Falconer has won the Republican nod for Denton County Commissioner, Precinct 2 over former Frisco City Council Member Dan Stricklin during the May 24 primary runoff elections. Falconer will run in the November general election for the position against democratic candidate Diana Weitzel.

With all Denton County precincts reporting, Falconer pulled in 5,303 votes, or 69.10%, while Stricklin gained 2,371 votes, or 30.90%.

According to unofficial results, Frederick Frazier secured the Republican nomination for Texas House of Representatives, District 61 with 6,424 votes, or 63.90%, while Chabot gained 3,629 votes, or 36.10%, with all Collin County precincts reporting.

In the runoff race for the Republican nomination for Collin County Court at Law No. 5, Randy Johnson won with 21,777 votes, or 59.29%, compared to Jimmy Angelino’s 14,955 votes, or 40.71%.

Unofficial results also show Mike Gould won the runoff for the Republican nomination for Collin County District Clerk with 19,791 votes, or 54.24%, to Lynne Finley’s 16,698 votes, or 45.76%.

In the runoff race for Collin County Democratic Party Chair, Caroline Werner won against incumbent Mike Rawlins with 8,320 votes, or 55.53%. Rawlins had 6,662 votes, or 44.47%.
