According to unofficial results, Kevin Falconer has won the Republican nod for Denton County Commissioner, Precinct 2 over former Frisco City Council Member Dan Stricklin during the May 24 primary runoff elections. Falconer will run in the November general election for the position against democratic candidate Diana Weitzel.
With all Denton County precincts reporting, Falconer pulled in 5,303 votes, or 69.10%, while Stricklin gained 2,371 votes, or 30.90%.
According to unofficial results, Frederick Frazier secured the Republican nomination for Texas House of Representatives, District 61 with 6,424 votes, or 63.90%, while Chabot gained 3,629 votes, or 36.10%, with all Collin County precincts reporting.
