The winner of the primary election will appear on the November ballot against the Democratic primary winner.
Preparing for the polls
Early voting begins Feb. 17 for March 3 primary races across Texas, including 18 statewide races and various local races. Registered voters may cast ballots in either Texas’ Republican or Democratic primary, but not both. Third-party candidates will appear on the ballot in November.

Why are you running for office?
The people in the district need real property tax relief. They need better roads, more power and water, and they need a leader who will work to stop the Islamic invasion of Texas.
What are the biggest challenges facing the district?
Taxes are driving many Texans out of their homes and that must stop. Our current roads, available power and water are not able to meet the influx of people into our district. I will work to speed up construction and increase local control of development. We must not allow Islam …
How do you plan to address these issues?
No taxes for senior citizens. Not frozen, eliminated so that no Texan loses their home. I will work to ban the waqf and zaccat to slow the Islamization of Texas and work with my fellow representatives to expedite [Texas Department of Transportation] money for our roads.
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
Reducing taxes be 25% for all Texans and eliminating them for senior citizens. Combing through the budget and eliminating any subsidies for Islam or any DEI carve outs. Working to expedite funding for roads and figuring out how to get more water for the citizens of Denton County.

Why are you running for office?
I’m running to bring practical, accountable leadership to Austin. After decades solving complex systems problems, I’ve seen how poor policy hurts families and small businesses. Our district deserves a representative who listens, works across communities, and delivers real results—not political drama.
What are the biggest challenges facing the district?
Our biggest challenges are deteriorating roads, rising property taxes, overcrowded schools, and unmanaged growth. Families are paying more while getting less. Infrastructure and public services are struggling to keep up, and state leadership must do more to support fast-growing communities.
How do you plan to address these issues?
I will advocate for targeted infrastructure funding, stronger local control, and responsible growth planning. I’ll work with city leaders, school districts, and county officials to ensure state resources are used efficiently, transparently, and where they are most needed.
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
My priorities are improving transportation infrastructure, lowering the property tax burden, strengthening public safety, and supporting high-quality education. I will focus on practical legislation that helps working families, protects taxpayers, and keeps our district competitive and safe.

What are the biggest challenges facing the district?
Property taxes are too high. State lawmakers don’t determine your tax bill, but we have set guardrails and have spent $51B in state dollars to offset local property taxes. It’s just not enough. How do you plan to address these issues?
Another big issue facing us is our infrastructure not keeping pace with our incredible growth. Though right-of-way acquisition is in various stages of completion, we must continue to focus on funding for expanded roads. I’m well positioned to continue that fight.
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
In addition to the issues already addressed, the cost of homeowners insurance is out of control. It’s a huge strain on families and barrier to home ownership. We must find a solution to lower premiums without shrinking coverage. It should be a top issue next session.
