1. The Imperial Room
The Imperial Room, a new concept cocktail lounge owned and operated by PILF Restaurant group, is opening in The Star district in Frisco in early September. The cocktail lounge is set to take over the space formerly occupied by ice cream shop Cow Tipping Creamery.
Once open, the cocktail lounge will offer seating for 25-30 guests. PILF Group Founder/Owner Jay Jerrier said The Imperial Room “gives us the opportunity to build something completely different.”
2. Chubby SkewersChinese barbecue restaurant chain Chubby Skewers will open a new location in Frisco next year. The restaurant specializes in Northeastern Chinese style street food, featuring customer-cooked skewers with a variety of meats, seafood and other crispy bites.
The restaurant, which will make its Texas debut with the Frisco location, will occupy approximately 4,000 square feet on Warren Parkway.
3. MoxiesMoxies, a Canadian-based fine dining brand with two existing locations in Southlake and Plano, is planning a new location in Frisco, a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing revealed.
The restaurant offers an expansive food and beverage menu, featuring fresh seafood, multiple steak options, burgers, bowls, salads and a full drinks menu spanning beer, wine and mixed drinks for any occasion.
Construction of the nearly 13,000 square-foot restaurant will cost approximately $800,000 and is estimated for completion in spring 2027.
4. Bread ZeppelinBread Zeppelin has opened its 11th Texas location with a new Frisco location at 4331 Main St., Ste 120. The Dallas-born restaurant offers made-to-order salads served in a hollowed-out baguette known as a Zeppelin.
Some of its menu items include buffalo chicken, classic caesar, cobb and southwest salads that all come in the baguette. It also offers salads and other bowls that do not come in the baguette.
5. Halal BunsHalal Buns, a fast-casual gourmet restaurant, is now open in Frisco.
Halal Buns specializes in burgers made with fresh never frozen beef and chicken dishes made using hormone and antibiotic-free chicken. All meats are 100% Zabiha Halal, sourced from suppliers the company says are committed to quality and humane standards.
Halal Buns Founder Rida Niazi said the company’s mission is simple: “To serve exceptional food made with high quality ingredients in a welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.”
