Fast-casual gourmet burger restaurant Halal Buns is set to open in Frisco this month, pending final inspections.
The details
At Halal Buns, burgers are made with fresh, never frozen beef, and chicken dishes are made using hormone- and antibiotic-free chicken. All meats are 100% Zabiha Halal, sourced from suppliers the company says are committed to quality and humane standards. Sauces are also made from scratch.
Menu items include crispy chicken sandwiches, chicken loaded fries, crispy wings and handcrafted milkshakes.

"Our mission is simple: to serve exceptional food made with high quality ingredients in a welcoming environment where everyone feels at home,” Rida Niazi, Halal Buns founder, said in an email.
Niazi went on to say that the team is excited to be part of the Frisco community and hopes the restaurant becomes a gathering place for residents of all backgrounds.
“We hope Halal Buns becomes a place where friends, families, and the community can come together over an unforgettable meal,” Niazi said.
