There are plenty of family-friendly events happening this weekend in Frisco. Some of the events include watching a play, walking tours in historic downtown and a free community event at the new Ford Center at The Star.
Super Friday Fun Night
Sept. 16 The Frisco Athletic Center hosts a night program on Fridays for children ages 7-12. Children can start off by playing air hockey, billiards and foosball during check-in. Children can also go into the indoor aquatic center for swimming in the lazy river, play pool or slide down the 45-foot water slide. At the end of the night pizza will be served and kids will be able to play more indoor games. 6-8:30 p.m. $20. Charlotte’s Web
Sept. 16 Frisco Youth Theatre will perform an adaption of the children’s novel Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White. The play tells the story of a pig named Wilbur, who desperately wants to avoid the butcher, and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins writing messages in her web praising Wilbur persuading the farmer to let him live. Frisco Youth Theatre is partnering with Frisco Family Services by hosting a food drive for their food pantry. Audiences are invited to bring an item from the following list to the show to donate to the Frisco Family Services Food Pantry:

- Individual chip bags
- individual fruit cups
- Popcorn
- 6 pk crackers/cookies
- Individual pretzels
- Dried fruit packets
- Breakfast bars
- Nutella dippers
- Peanut butter dippers
- Granola bars
- Fruit snacks
